Stafford Borough Youth Issues Group

The Youth Issues Group is made up of representatives from agencies and organisations, both statutory and voluntary sectors, working with young people. The group meet quarterly at Walton Youth Centre to address youth related community safety issues within the Borough. The partnership enables agencies to work collaboratively to highlight priorities and explore solutions.

Recognising young people as important members of our communities, and a group that can find solutions to the challenges that community safety presents, is a central theme for the Youth Issues Group. The group, working through the Community Safety structure, is able to share good practice and coordinate resources in order to improve services to young people. Currently the group is exploring opportunities to link with the emerging Community Learning Partnerships an initiative that will lead to further joint working.
